MAP Calculator

Enter a blood pressure and get the mean arterial pressure (MAP) — the average pressure driving blood to the organs across the cardiac cycle. It's the number that matters for perfusion, and it's what many pressure and vasopressor titration orders are written against.

MAP = (SBP + 2 × DBP) ÷ 3. A MAP of about 65 mmHg or higher is a common threshold for adequate organ perfusion, but always follow the ordered target.
