Welcome to the Nurse.ICU blog

A place for updates, study notes, and behind-the-scenes on what we are building — separate from our in-depth clinical guides.

By The Nurse.ICU Team

Welcome. If you have found your way here, you probably already know the pitch: real resources for real nurses — practical, sourced, and written for the reality of the unit, not the marketing department.

This blog is the more casual companion to our articles. Where an article is an evergreen, carefully-reviewed guide, the blog is where we will post shorter things:

  • What we are building — new question sets, tools, and features as they ship.
  • Study notes — quick takes on things that trip nurses up, especially in neuro and critical care.
  • Behind the scenes — how we write and check questions, and why we do it the way we do.

What we care about

A few things will stay constant no matter what we post:

  • Sourced and honest. We cite our sources and we do not invent credentials or fake reviewers. Ever.
  • Not medical advice. Everything here is educational. Always follow your facility’s policies and the guidance of licensed clinicians.
  • Built for the bedside. Short, useful, and readable on a phone between tasks.

More soon. In the meantime, the free NCLEX practice sets and the bedside tools are open to everyone — no account needed.
